USET governing council
The people governing our university
The USET Governing Council comprises 7 esteemed leaders from science, engineering, technology, business, and other professional fields.
As the highest decision-making body, the Council is responsible for overseeing governance, ensuring financial sustainability, and upholding academic excellence. Members provide expert guidance on institutional policies, support innovation in teaching and research, and foster partnerships with industry, government, and international organisations. Their leadership helps USET remain at the forefront of applied science, engineering, and technology education, equipping students with the skills to drive progress in The Gambia and beyond.
