The Vice Chancellor of USET, Professor Nazmat Surajudeen -Bakinde, has reaffirmed the University’s commitment to empowering youths, returnees, and vulnerable persons through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).*
During an interview at the Brikama Campus, she highlighted the transformative impact of practical skills training, entrepreneurship, and strategic partnerships with institutions such as GIZ in promoting sustainable development and national growth.
Professor Surajudeen -Bakinde noted that USET continues to equip students with industry-relevant competencies in areas including solar technology, construction, automotive engineering, electrical installation, and innovation-driven entrepreneurship, enabling graduates to become self-reliant and contributors to national development.
