
On 15 April 2026, the University of Applied Science, Engineering and Technology (USET) paid a courtesy visit to First Bank Gambia (FBNBank Gambia) as part of efforts to deepen institutional collaboration and engagement.
The visit focused on fostering partnership and exploring opportunities for cooperation, particularly through corporate social responsibility initiatives. Discussions also highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between academia and both the public and private sectors to support sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by the Managing Director of First Bank Gambia, Mr. Gbenga Ajibola, alongside top senior managers of the bank. The USET delegation was led by the Vice Chancellor and included the Registrar and other senior university officials.
Both institutions expressed a shared commitment to building a strong and mutually beneficial relationship, with a focus on capacity development, innovation and community impact.
